See also: How to – Northern Lights hunting in Iceland
This is a mini-post on choosing a camper van for hunting for northern lights in Iceland. We spent some time on finding the best option and I think this might be possibly useful to others.

REQUIREMENTS
What did we expect from a camper van?
- Stationary heating. This is a must. Without heating staying in a car wouldn’t be pleasant at all.
- Stove inside the car. Some smaller camper vans force you to leave the car to cook. While in summer this might work, in winter it’s a no-go.
- Long bed. I am 188cm tall and a short bed would make me suffer.
